History:

An Android is Operating system for cellular Phone, smart watch, smart tv tablet. Android founded by Andy Rubin founded Android Incorporation in Palo Alto, California, United States in October, 2003. Basically it was developed for operating system of digital camera but in 2004 target  changed further process for smart phone and first use of android in T mobile G1 (Deutsche Telekom)  mobile released in 2008.Android is the nick name of Andy Rubin.

17 August Google acquired Android incorporate. 

        Google announced on 5 November 2007, founding of the Open Handset Alliance with dozens of technology and mobile telephone companies, including Intel Corporation, Motorola, Inc., NVIDIA Corporation, Texas Instruments Incorporated, LG Electronics, Inc., Samsung Electronics, Sprint Nextel Corporation, and T-Mobile. The main aim was created in order to develop and promote Android as a open source operating system with feature supporting of third party application. Android use wireless network so the android based device use wireless network.

Android OS provide pre install application based on the device like in mobile phone (Google search, google map, Youtube, Google Doc and Google Earth (satellite mapping software)

Android is the most popular OS  for mobile compare to any other operating system, in 2020 75% of mobile device run on android OS.
